Mimic Crafts was started in 1971 as a manufacturer of electronic and Mimic displays.  Over the years the company built up expertise in other areas, including control desks, software, and display electronics.  As a result of our constant growth and success, and the many overseas contracts we have undertaken it became necessary to split the company into two groups i.e.  Mimic Crafts (Pty) Ltd and Mimic Components (Pty) Ltd.  This guarantees our patrons dedicated and personalized service in whichever department they choose to deal with.

History

Mimic Crafts (Pty) Ltd offers a wide range of Mosaic mimics (including an aluminium and plastic grid system).  Apart from mosaics, we also produce excellent photo anodized aluminium face plates.   We boast large bed computerized engraving facilities and fully equipped cad facilities for our engraved mimics.  We also pioneered the revival of rear engraved perspex mimics using new materials which cut cost without compromising quality.

Mimic Crafts (Pty) Ltd also manufactures superior quality consoles which are aimed at the ’up’ market segment geared towards prestige control rooms.  Control desks are tailored to customer specifications and specifically made to house computer based systems.
